ABOUT TONY HARRIS (USA):
I have been an IT professional in the northeastern US for over 30 years, but languages, both natural and constructed, have always been my first love.  A lifelong New Englander, I currently live in Vermont with my wife and cat, when not visiting our children and grandchildren in various places around the US and the world.

ABOUT ALURHSA:
I began working on Alurhsa in my early teens, almost 40 years ago, as personal artistic work to reflect an advanced culture and civilization, still in harmony with both its own past and traditions and with nature, in which I would feel at home.  It has remained in many ways the language of my soul, and I use it regularly in my personal writings and musings.  Alurhsa is an inflected language with a rich sound system and a large vocabulary.  Those who hear it often say it sounds vaguely Russian, French, and Welsh at the same time.

MY THREE FAVOURITE LANGUAGES:
It was difficult for me to select three natural languages that I consider the most beautiful, but after some consideration I will go with Russian, French, and Finnish, all of which have had some influence on my own conlang, Alurhsa, and all of which I consider to have attractive sound systems with flexible, nuanced vocabularies and word building, and precise yet flexible grammars.
