ABOUT THE TRACK
"My drone was created out of a 40 second speech sample from a documentary about Éliane Radigue. I played that sample through the spring reverb of an old analog mixer and recorded the output. That process was repeated several times until the speech was completely transformed into drone. The result was then stretched to 240132 (her birthday) milliseconds."

ABOUT HERBSTHAUCH
Herbsthauch is the experimental music project of Jan Wegmann. He studies sounddesign in Germany and experiments with sound in different ways. Combination of analog and digital synthesis, electronic and acoustic instruments or influences of various musical genres flow together and form interesting sounds and structures. He creates moving objects you can listen to, like scultptures in a museum. All is done with a minimalistic approach and a compensation to the absolutely necessary. His music is built out of drones and unusual sounds and noises, but also melodic and beautiful ones. The compositions often have elements of improvisation and describe various emotions and feelings or just capture an excerpt of a situation.
