Komponiert 2015. Erstveröffentlicht 2015 in einer anderen Version auf huellkurven.net #4 in 2015. Der altgriechische Redner Demosthenes soll seine Sprechfertigkeit geübt haben, indem er lange Texte mit kleinen Steinen im Mund rezitierte. Das wird hier mit einer anderen Erwähnung von Steinen in der altgriechischen Tradition verbunden: mit dem mythischen Sisyphos, der dazu verdammt ist, einen Stein immer wieder den Berg hinaufzurollen und dabei auf ewig scheitert. In der Performance wird dieses Scheitern dadurch umgesetzt, dass ich während des Vortrags immer größere Steine in den Mund nehme.

Composed in 2015. Alternate version first released online in huellkurven.net #4 in 2015. Ancient Greek orator Demosthenes is said to have trained his speaking skills by reciting long texts with little stones in his mouth. This practice is fused here with another mention of stones in the ancient Greek tradition, the mythical stone of Sisyphos which he is condemned to roll up a hill, eternally failing. In my performance, I am representing that failure by putting bigger and bigger stones into my mouth while reciting the text.
