Seit 2013 widmet sich EMERGE aka Sascha Stadlmeier immer wieder Live-Vokalimprovisationen. Seine ersten beiden Werke »I« und »II« wurden auf Labels in Bulgarien und den USA veröffentlicht, das neue Release »III + IV« erscheint nun auf atemwerft: zwei Live-Mitschnitte von Vocal Drones & Stimmennoise, aufgenommen bei Gigs in der Ganzen Bäckerei Augsburg. .
Der Augsburger Sascha Stadlmeier ist Soundartist, Label-Betreiber von attenuation circuit, Kurator und des re:flexions sound-art festival und Gründungsmitglied von »jetzt:musik!«, der Augsburger Gesellschaft für Neue Musik. Mit seinem Projekt EMERGE veröffentlicht er seit 2003 elektroakustische Musik auf internationalen Labels wie Drone Records, Tâalem und Frozen Light. Neben seiner kompositorischen Arbeit an der Schnittstelle von Musique concrète, Drone und Noise (darunter eine Radiokomposition für das Studio Akustische Kunst des WDR) ist er seit 2016 verstärkt im Bereich der freien Improvisation aktiv. Mit »III + IV« legt er zwei jeweils mehr als 16 Minuten lange Livemitschnitte vor: zwei Solo-Performances vor, improvisiert, allein mit Stimme sowie Effekt- und Loopgeräten.
Stadlmeiers intensive internationale Konzerttätigkeit führte ihn u.a. auf zahlreiche internationalen Festivals wie Avantgarde Festival, lab30, 20 Jahre MGNM, Zasavje Noisefest, Ecological Sound of Varna Fest, Autistic Campaign Fest und Hradby Samoty. Sein Label attenuation circuit hat sich seit 2010 als wichtige Plattform für die internationale experimentelle Musikszene etabliert und veröffentlichte bisher über 100 Künstler aus zahlreichen Ländern. Seit 2016 ist das Gründungsmitglied von »jetzt:musik!«, der Augsburger Gesellschaft für Neue Musik, Kurator des jährlichen re:flexions sound-art festival in Augsburg.

Since 2013, every now and then, EMERGE aka Sascha Stadlmeier works in vocal live-improvisation. His first two works here, »I« and »II«, has been released on labels in Bulgaria and the USA. The new volume »III + IV« finds its home on german Vocal Poetry Label atemwerft: two live-recordings of vocal drones & voice-noise, performed at gigs at the Augsburg venue »Ganze Bäckerei«.
Augsburg-based artist Sascha Stadlmeier aka EMERGE is a soundartist and musician, runs the attenuation circuit label, organises the local re: flexions sound-art festival and is co-founder of »jetzt:musik!«, Augsburgs society for New Music. By this, Stadlmeier has been putting Augsburg on the map of the international experimental music and sound-art scene. By his project EMERGE he released since 2003 electroacoustic music on labels like Drone Records, Tâalem und Frozen Light. Besides his compositions at the borderline on musique concrète, drone und noise, since 2016 Stadlmeier works more and more in free improvisation. With his new release on atemwerft, »III + IV«, he presents two long live-tracks, each more than 16 minutes of length: two solo-performances, improvised solely by using his voice, combined with effects and loops.
