ABOUT THE TRACK
"With the words of a poem by Amelia Rosselli, I created both melodic and rhythmic patterns. Moreover, I used the same words to give birth to another text, which nevertheless stems from the Rosselli’s. The order of the words was led by chance. In fact, Rosselli cared more about the sound than the meaning. Rhythm was another important feature: she was schizophrenic, and for this kind of illness – concerning an excess of thinking – rhythm is determining in creating a flow to keep thoughts under control.
This is simply my tribute to one of my favorite poets and to voice."

ABOUT DEBORAH RICETTI
Deborah Ricetti is an Italian student of Literature and a singer, fond of vocal improvisation and experimental singing. This, along with her passion for poetry, led her to a study about both Amelia Rosselli – Italian ethnomusicologist and poet - and Cathy Berberian - the well-known muse of Luciano Berio.
